Tash Velkou & Alex White - you both need to indicate which artists you are presenting for the class tomorrow?
This should be done by students prior their presentations (primarily to give me a heads up on the artist you are discussing).

ReplyDeleteHe is primarily a photographer - not exactly the best choice for "Sculpture + Performance and Installation" - there are many other more appropriate artists featured in the Art & Today text - chapter on Representation.

ReplyDeleteYou will really need to focus on the 'sculptural' aspects of his work - investigate the model making side of his practise and discuss why he chooses to photograph these 'objects / scenes'.
