David Altmejd born in 1974, in Montreal in Canada. He is a sculptor/installtion artist. Altmejd's grandiosely-scaled sculptures and installtions are like the Hitchcock's celluloid narrative and the High Baroque poems embodies:they're monstrous, formless, excessive, bizarre, creepy impossible.
'figures made from an assortment of plaster, morphed mannequin parts, animal heads, crystals and birds are his primary subjects. He combines these things together to create a fantastical worls that plays with the conventions of reality'
