Theo Jansen creates these Kinetically powered creatures he calls Strandbeests. As you can see these wind-powered plastic tube creatures, many the size of elephants and larger are amazing to watch.

 This Dutch bastard, artist, engineer creates these sculptures to roam the beaches of Holland and survive on their own via the wind. 

Im guessing he wants to create some form of new life, personally think he's insane.

Jansen is a pretty cool guy, he doesn't afraid of anything because he exhibits outside of an institutional format.
