I went to the Darren Knight Gallery and saw the Object, Memory and Self exhibition. on Saturday and found a really intriguing work by Kenzee Patterson.

"It is regarded alternately as an expression of the individual psych and a set of conventions that mock true individuality." - 2nd paragraph of the Chapter for this week (Page 66, Art & Today). It is an interesting phrase to apply to abstract art and this work in particular. And Type 70 reflects, perhaps almost in an abstract way, the notions of geometric forms used in early abstract art..?
