Jaume Plensa (b. 1955, barcelona) is a contemporary sculptor, internationally recognised for his large scape outdoor projects and public space work, and his works displayed not only in spain, but all over europe, uk, usa, and asia.

Plensa explores many subjects including environmental and sociological issues with various heavy-duty materials including steel, concrete, granite, glass, glass brick, white Spanish dolomite, marble, and bronze. He's latest works which consists of human body, head and face represents the metaphysical aspects of human qualities, relationship and physicality.
