Paul McCarthy works with video and sculpture and uses humor in sometimes the most immature fashion (just how I like it!). A great resource for video art is www.ubuweb.com (I think amanda may have showed this already) I guess the theme in McCarthys work that relates to narrative for me is that most of his video works are a comical exaggerated version of things he experienced as a child and a young adult, and on mass tells a story about the artist. He has a section in the ART21 dvds that has a great interview with him. I really like this work that is attached the bit where he is spinning around saying "I'm fucking painting" it reminds me of an old painting teacher, kind of disgusting too dont you think?
